FREE OFFER   Save water, energy and money

Northern Wasco County PUD is offering adjustable high-efficiency,

low-flow showerheads with four settings to customers who heat their

water with an electric water heater. Get a free compact fluorescent

light, too. Times are tough. Using resources such as water and

energy efficiently  is good for the environment—and Northern Wasco

County PUD wants to help. “When our customers use less electricity,

that conservation means we don’t have to buy as much electricity,”

says PUD Energy Specialist Steve Holmes. That becomes more

important as the PUD faces higher wholesale power costs in the

coming years. Take advantage of this offer and return the postcard

for a free showerhead (or two), and a compact fluorescent light. A

low-flow showerhead can reduce water heating costs and water

consumption by 50 percent. A compact fluorescent light uses about

75 percentless energy than an incandescent bulb.

First-come, first-served—while supplies last
